If not, head to the dirty rocky beach and pick yourself up some "booger sugar" from the incessant vendors.įood: Speaking of dorms, that's the best way to describe the 4 restaurants we tried before we left.Ĭustomer Service: We were celebrating our 10 yr anni, birthday, & 1st time away from kids. The pool / drinks: If you like loud, obnoxious Las Vegas-style pool parties, waking up at 7am to reserve a seat, and drinking "top-shelf" Jose Cuervo / Hornitos margaritas out of cheap dorm cups, then this is your jam. But the worst part, by far, was waking up with bed bug bites. The room / amenities: Smelled like the smoking section of a Village Inn circa 1980. Alas, the "reservation department was closed" and they "couldn't do anything". I'll give more detail below, but there'd be a whole lot less to write had they just let us check out when we asked to leave.
